Celebrate Cycling Later in Life

TWBC is partnering with Cycling Over Sixty to launch their first live group event. This minimally supported, free group ride is meant to be the first of an annual celebration of cycling as a perfect activity to stay healthy later in life. The plan is for the ride to use the Foothills Trail starting in Puyallup. However, it is possible that, while the start will stay the same, a couple of routes my change due to the completion of the Spiketon Ditch Bridge being delayed.  You can find all the information on the three routes at the Cycling Over Sixty Annual Event Page.

Downtown on the Go Ride with Elected Officials

Hi TWBC Members,

Here's a great opportunity to advocate for better bike infrastructure while enjoying a casual ride through downtown Tacoma.

President's Report for September

I hope you all had a great bike month in August,  usually our best weather.   We were able to go on a ten day camper trip to Bayview, Birch Bay and Rasar State Parks.   There are excellent bike rides at these parks.

The Village People

You have heard that it takes a Village to build a Trail.  I want to tell you about my Trail journey these past 35 years.
