The 2026 Daffodil Classic: A Rite of Spring in Orting

🌼 It's time for a beloved TWBC tradition! Kick off the 2026 riding season with the vibrant colors and scenic roads of the Daffodil Classic. This ride celebrates the valley's gorgeous daffodil blooms and is the perfect way to welcome warmer days back to the saddle.
Whether you're looking for a leisurely family-friendly spin or a route to test your early-season fitness, the Daffodil Classic has an option for you. Join us as we roll through the beautiful Puyallup Valley farmland and enjoy the rolling countryside together.

Ride Details:

  • Date: April 4, 2026
  • Start Time: 9:30 AM (Please arrive by 9:15 AM for check-in)
  • Meeting Location: Gazebo near the Orting Trailhead

Ride Options:

  • 45-Mile Route: This traditional 45-mile route for the Daffodil Classic has been a club favorite for many years, offering a beautiful tour of the Puyallup Valley.

  • Family Friendly Route: Looking for a less intensive but equally enjoyable option? The Foothills Trail offers up to 30 miles of paved pathways perfect for a leisurely family ride amidst the blooming daffodils.

Post-Ride Celebration:

As is tradition, we'll gather after the ride to refuel and socialize. Join your fellow riders at  Route 66 Pizza in Orting for some well-deserved treats and conversation, courtesy of the club.

  • Non-Members: Non-Members can join TWBC and register for the ride online at Member Subscription for only $30.00.
  • Parking: Please respect the community when parking. Do not park in retail spaces or restricted areas.
  • Rider Safety: Please come prepared to ride. We recommend you inspect your bike the night before.
  • Helmets required. All riders are expected to ride safely and obey the rules of the road.
