President's Report for September

I hope you all had a great bike month in August,  usually our best weather.   We were able to go on a ten day camper trip to Bayview, Birch Bay and Rasar State Parks.   There are excellent bike rides at these parks. 

I found time to attend Trails and Ales in Puyallup.   It was a party and fundraiser for a future link in the Riverwalk Trail.  The fundraiser is a joint venture of ForeverGreen Trails and Foothills Rails-to-Trails Coalition.  Seven club members were there for support and Tacos.

I will be traveling to Albania for a bike trip with the Cross Canada Cycle Touring Society. 

You can attend our Headwaters Century Ride on Saturday, September 6.  The Pierce County Trails Conference is on Thursday September 25 from 5 to 7:30 at the Puyallup Park Pavilion.   You can sign up at ForeverGreen Trails.com.
