Giving Back: TWBC's Support for Bikes for Kids

 

We're proud to be a part of a community that cares about giving back, and we're grateful for the opportunity to partner with Bikes for Kids at Marine View Presbyterian Church. Last year, they distributed 606 bikes, and this year, they had a record-breaking giveaway of 80 bikes to the Tacoma Police Department's Health and Safety Fair. 

We recently donated $500 to support their mission, and we received a heartfelt thank-you note from Tony Chursky, the director of Bikes for Kids:

Dear TWBC:

I'm Tony Chursky from Bikes For Kids at Marine View Presbyterian Church, and I want to thank you for your wonderful donation of $500 last month. Your generous contribution allows us to continue going deeper with our communities and reaching wider with our bikes. Last year we distributed 606 bikes, and this year or biggest single give away was 80 bikes for the Tacoma Police Department's Health and Safety Fair at Eastside Community Center at the end of August. It is your support that helps to make our ministry possible, and we can't thank you enough for your steadfast contributions to our cause.
