Our friends at 2nd Cycle put out the following call for volunteers. Whenever we support 2nd Cycle we are building the local cycling community.
Shitty Gritty Alleycat – Volunteer Call
Shitty Gritty is a community-focused alleycat-style bike
event hosted by 2nd Cycle. The goal is to get people out riding during a time
of year when many struggle to stay motivated, while also encouraging riders to
explore parts of Tacoma they might not normally visit or might find more
challenging to reach by bike. Here is a link to the web page I created
for the event. Shitty

The event aligns with 2nd Cycle’s mission to increase access
to bicycling, build confidence, and strengthen community through riding. Shitty
Gritty emphasizes participation, exploration, and fun over competition, and
helps raise awareness about how people can move through the city by bike in
creative and unexpected ways.
