Join TWBC for a Ride to the Parkland Community Trail Groundbreaking

When: Saturday, September 27th
Ride time: 10:30 AM
Starting point: Fern Hill School (8442 Park Avenue)

TWBC President Bob Myrick is organizing a group ride to celebrate a milestone in our community's cycling infrastructure. We'll be riding together to the groundbreaking celebration for the new Parkland Community Trail at Sprinkler Recreation Center.

Route Details
The ride begins at Fern Hill School, where we'll gather to head out at 10:30 AM. From there, we'll make our way to the Sprinkler Recreation Center for the trail groundbreaking festivities.
Weather and time permitting, we'll extend the ride beyond the ceremony with a continuation to Audubon Lake and the Exchange Tavern, located south of Spanaway Lake.

A Touch of History
What makes this ride even more special is that we'll be traveling along a route steeped in local history. Park Avenue was part of the pathway to Mount Rainier back in 1894, connecting us to the adventurous spirit of travelers from over a century ago.

Come Celebrate Progress
This ride represents more than just a fun Saturday morning outing—it's a celebration of our community's commitment to expanding cycling infrastructure and creating safe, accessible trails for everyone to enjoy.

See you at Fern Hill School at 10:30 AM on September 27th!
