On Saturday, December 16 the club held a ride and pizza party as a means of socializing with fellow riders and as a celebration of Bob Myrick’s 80th birthday.
Three members did the ride – Bob Myrick, Harry Simmons and Charlene Dorward. The day was cold but sunny (and no chance of black ice) so we expected more riders.
The pizza party that followed the ride was held at the Round Table Clubhouse. The pizza came quickly, it was good & hot and there was lots of it. Bob’s daughter and grandson attended the party and brought with them a huge cake and a collage of pictures of Bob’s life. About sixteen people attended the pizza party.We hope to put on some more Pizza rides this year. Do you have any suggestions?
