TACOMA, WA 98411 TOUR DE PIERCE The Tacoma Wheelmen’s Club has agreed to assist Pierce County Parks & Recreation in sponsoring a new bicycling event - the Tour de Pierce! This will be a family oriented ride of up to 35 miles, to be held on a Sunday late in September or early in October. The start will be at the Tacoma Dome, and the route will probably head towards Sumner and Puyallup. Our club’s responsibilities will be in choosing the route, and staffing the day of the event itself. For our efforts, the club will receive a stipend (similar to our arrangements with Cascade for
