Ashford Bicycle Week Festival - 2026

Join us for the fourth Ashford Bicycle Week Festival! Enjoy scenic rides, hiking opportunities and camping under the stars at the Sahara Creek DNR Horse Camp.
Join us for four nights of camping at the horse camp, or make your own reservations for lodging in Ashford. We have reserved group campsites #2 and 3, each of which will accommodate several campers. Campsites #24 through 27 are first come-first served. All campsites are free.

Event Details:

• When: Monday, August 3 – Friday, August 7, 2026
• Meeting Location: Sahara Creek DNR Horse Camp, 3 miles west of Ashford

Ride Options:

• Ashford to Longmire:
  • Ride to Longmire (28 miles return). Take the scenic back way along Skate Creek Road to Longmire with an option to ride up the Westside Road.
  • The Westside Road requires a gravel bike.

• Ashford to Elbe:
  • Ride to Elbe (14 miles return). Ride partly along the Old Hershey Road to the charming town of Elbe.

• Ashford to Packwood:
  • Ride to Packwood (57 miles return). Enjoy a longer ride through beautiful landscapes to Packwood.
  • Map: TBD
• Silver Creek Pass Petite Route:
  • Silver Creek Pass Petite Route is 44 miles with 4,000’ of elevation gain.
  • This is a challenging ride with 57% paved roads and 43% gravel roads.
  • This ride requires a gravel bike.

Trail Clearing:

In addition to the rides, we will do some trail clearing on the Old Hershey Road.

Ride Essentials:

• Non-Members: Non-members can join TWBC and register for the ride online for only $30.00.
• Parking: You must have a Discover Pass to camp or park at the Horse Camp. These are available online or at the gas station in Ashford.
• Rider Safety: Please come prepared to ride. We recommend you inspect your bike the night before.
• Helmets required. All riders are expected to ride safely and obey the rules of the road.
