Can America Build Bikes Again?

As a cyclist, I spend a lot of time thinking about bikes—which ones I’d like to buy, where to ride them, and how to maintain them. I’m aware that most American cyclists probably got their bike from Taiwan or China, even if the logo on the frame says Trek, Specialized, or another brand.

President's Report for January

Greetings Fellow Cyclists and Happy New Year.  December was a most challenging month with the floods and nasty weather.  Charlene and I were able to ride to Pacific from Orting for Fish Tacos in spite of the closed Sumner Link Trail.  The next day we rode to Crocker from Orting and found a short piece of trail covered in parking lot gravel.  The Sanikan had floated away about 12 feet.  Then the trail was covered in thin mud.  We turned back, but others were heading to South Prairie.  Hopefully we can all get on a few of our regular rides in January.
