TWBC and Cycling Over Sixty Team for Tour de Cure – May 2nd

As I mentioned in a previous post, we're building something special: a Cycling Over Sixty team for this year's Tour de Cure on May 2nd. My goal is simple —to get a huge turnout that makes a statement to everyone riding and watching that cycling later in life brings vitality.

TWBC is Matching Your Fundraising
A reminder that TWBC has stepped up to help get our team rolling. The first five TWBC members who raise $125 will have that amount matched by the club, qualifying you for the ride without having to reach the full $250 minimum on your own. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team with support from your cycling community.

How to Register
Please register as soon as possible at tour.diabetes.org/teams/CO60. We want everyone registered before the end of February so we can order team jerseys early. Speaking of jerseys, they're being generously provided by Konvergent Wealth (konvergentwealth.com).

Registering early also gives me more time to assist with everyone's fundraising efforts. Right now, we're the number one team with close to $5,000 raised, and I'd love to keep us at the top!

BREAKING NEWS! BIKE RX Film
Here's something exciting—we're producing a film called BIKE RX: The Bike as a Medical Device that focuses on members of our Tour de Cure team. This film will extend our impact far beyond May 2nd, showcasing the real health benefits of cycling to a much wider audience.

Let's Reach Fifty Riders
I would love to have a team of fifty people to demonstrate how many of us embrace the joy and health benefits of cycling later in life. Imagine the statement we'll make together!

Your participation means:
  • Being part of a fun, supportive group of riders
  • Contributing to the fight against diabetes
  • Sending a powerful message that cycling later in life yields valuable health results
Please sign up for the team today.  tour.diabetes.org/teams/CO60
Questions? Reach out and let's get you on the team. See you on May 2nd!
