 Wheels in Motion: Join Us for the 2025 Tour de Pierce!

Keep your Wheels in Motion this summer with one of TWBC’s signature events — the Tour de Pierce! This fun and flexible ride offers something for everyone, from families with kids to long-distance enthusiasts. It’s a perfect mid-summer ride and a great way to stay active, explore local trails, and connect with fellow cyclists.

Date and Time:

  • When: Saturday, July 12, 2024
  • Start Time: 9:00 AM (please arrive by 8:45 AM)
  • Meeting Location: 5th St SW & 7th Ave SW, Puyallup, WA
  • Parking: Park on streets nearby but note the Parking Restrictions signs.
    •  Please respect the community when parking. Do not park in retail spaces or restricted areas.


Ride Options:

  • 7-Mile Loop: This is the kids' ride and uses sidewalks and the RiverWalk Trail
  • 17-Mile Loop: Ideal for families and those looking for a leisurely ride. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and friendly atmosphere at a relaxed pace. This route allows you to wave at the STP riders coming down the West Valley Highway.
  • 50-Mile Loop: A great option for riders seeking a longer distance. This mostly flat route includes the West Valley Highway, Sumner Link Trail, and the Foothills Trail to the South Prairie trailhead. You can take a mid-ride break at South Prairie or at Spooner Farms, both on the Foothills Trail.

Post-Ride Celebration:

Celebrate your accomplishment with us at Fat Zach’s Pizza in Puyallup. All participants are welcome to join for pizza, provided by the club, and share their experiences from the day.

Ride Essentials:

  • Non-Members: Non-Members can join TWBC and register for the ride online at Member Subscription for only $30.00.
  • Parking: Please respect the community when parking. Do not park in retail spaces or restricted areas.
  • Rider Safety: Please come prepared to ride. We recommend you inspect your bike the night before. Helmets required. All riders are expected to ride safely and obey the rules of the road.
