We have survived the Winter and are ready to look forward to Spring and Summer Activities. We also need a few volunteers along the way as noted below.
In March our combined Directors and General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 19. On Thursday, March 28 Foothills Rails to Trails Coalition will have an event in Buckley called Spring Into Trails. You can sign up on their website. The event is at 5 pm and will have food and refreshments.
In May, the combined Directors and General membership meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 16. Several TWBC members will ride the Skagit Classic in Burlington on Saturday May 11. On Saturday May 25, the Mini Croc Ride happens in Pendleton Oregon.
In June, the combined Directors and General membership meeting will be on Tuesday, June 11. Our Peninsula Metric Century will be held on Sunday, June 2 and we think there will be PIZZA near the end of the ride at Round Table in Gig Harbor. We offer a club camping trip from June 15 to June 23 with flexible options. The main event will be the CDA RV and tent Campground on the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes from Monday through Wednesday nights. You can stay in Harrison on Saturday and Sunday night before the main event and you can stay in Wallace after the main event for some more riding.
In July the Directors and General membership meeting will be held on Tuesday July 9. The Tour de Pierce Ride will be on Saturday July 13 and there will be PIZZA after at Fat Zach's Pizza in Puyallup. We will offer a club motel trip on the Willapa Hills Trail to South Bend on Tuesday July 16. Hopefully we can park at Rainbow Falls State Park for a 43 mile Gravel trip. Adna start would be 54 miles and Chehalis start would be 59 miles. There is a back road for the return trip.
In August we are still thinking about another Ashford Bike and Hike Event. The Directors and General membership meeting will be on Tuesday, August 13.
In September the Directors and General membership meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 10. Our traditional Headwaters Century Ride will be on Sunday September 8. We hope to include the new bridge over the White River and FREE Pie from the Pie Goddess in Enumclaw.
In October the Directors and General membership meeting will be on Tuesday October 8. Every two years we have a State Trails Conference and it will be in Wenatchee from October 3 to 5. Wenatchee is a great place to ride so you might consider going.
